Mrs. Melich’s financial crisis – Individual approach to debtors in out-of-court recovery
Mrs. Melich found herself in a difficult financial situation as a result of a short-term loan that was made to help her family. Unfortunately, the debt had fallen into considerable arrears and when the debt was referred to the collection agency LogiCall, Mrs. Melich’s contacts proved to be outdated. This necessitated further investigation by a collections inspector who was to visit Ms. Melich personally at her address. After successfully reaching her at her address, the debt collector contacted the debtor and informed her of the risks associated with non-payment of the debt, taking into account her difficult situation as a single mother.
Thanks to open communication and understanding on the part of the debt collector, a solution was found to help Mrs. Melich repay her debt within her financial means. She was offered an extension of the repayment period and an adjustment of her repayments to match her income, which allowed her to better manage her family budget and gradually get back on track. This situation illustrates the importance of treating debtors individually and finding a solution that will lead to successful repayment without putting the debtor in even more trouble.
Joint debt resolution – The story of Mr. Zmeškal and his cooperation with a debt collection agency
Mr. Zmeškal was a debtor who had been neglecting his obligations to his mobile operator for a long time. The debt was mounting up and the operator decided to refer the case to LogiCall, a collection agency, which contacted Mr. Zmeškal in writing at his address and subsequently by phone. Despite repeated telephone calls, he remained lax. Subsequently, as part of the collection procedure, Mr. Zmeškal was also contacted by e-mail. This notice clearly described the consequences that could arise in the event of non-payment, including possible legal action.
This direct and formal invitation prompted Mr. Zmesškal to react. He subsequently decided to address the situation and established cooperation with a debt collection agency. Together, they found a solution that allowed the debtor to repay the debt gradually, without having to take legal action. This approach led to a successful conclusion of the case and to the satisfaction of both parties.
Resolving an unpaid fine in Italy
Mr. Jaroslav, a business owner from Olomouc, got into trouble during a business trip in Italy for an unpaid fine for unauthorised entry into a regulated zone in Padua. The company received a reminder from the Italian municipality, but due to the language barrier and lack of attention, this communication was omitted. After the non-payment of the fine, LogiCall, a collection agency specialising in the recovery of fines from Czech debtors in Italy, started sending further reminders with an increased amount according to Italian law. Mr. Jaroslav faced the risk that his company vehicles would be parked in Italy, which would seriously jeopardise the company’s operations and the performance of orders on the local market.
To avoid litigation and other complications, he agreed with the collection agency LogiCall to pay the debt in stages. This agreement was necessary to protect the company’s operations and to ensure that its vehicles could continue to operate on Italian roads. The case demonstrates the importance of timely response to international legal obligations and the importance of effective risk management in business, and the cooperation with the collection agency and the efforts to settle out of court allowed the company to continue operations without serious restrictions.
